Subject: SPSE Employee Survey
SPSE is working for a better Laboratory. We know that the quality of our working lives depends on the quality of the Laboratory as an institution. We are committed to building a Laboratory that is well managed and accountable; one that will provide safe and secure jobs with decent and fair wages along with high quality research.
SPSE is a democratic, member-run association. Our decisions are made by our members and members elected to the board. SPSE is conducting a survey as part of a study to evaluate its effectiveness, ensure it is representative of LLNL scientists and engineers, and to increase membership. The survey may be done on-line at the SPSE website.
We invite you, the professional scientists, engineers, and those doing equivalent professional work, to join us in deciding what issues are important to the Laboratory employees and SPSE members. We believe that we have an important contribution to make to the Lab, and need your active voice. Help set the agenda for the coming years. We are asking both members and non-members to join together to help increase our collective strength. Just go to the SPSE website to find instructions on how to complete the survey--it will take only a few minutes--and also enter a prize drawing for those who take the time to participate in the survey.
