A motion was brought before the SPSE Executive Board requesting that society membership be opened further to include all UC employees that are not already represented by another union (that is, are neither members, nor part of a bargaining unit of another union). The Board discussed the motion and voted to pass it. As membership chair, I've received numerous inquiries from individuals wishing to benefit from membership in SPSE. I am now pleased to announce that the Executive Board has granted their wish.
