The contract transition schedule calls for us all to have a new employer by October 2007. Some aspects of this change are beyond our control, but others may not be. The Request for Proposal (RFP) requires that the successful bidder continue to recognize labor organizations like SPSE-UPTE. To take advantage of this opportunity, SPSE-UPTE has begun a campaign to preserve many of the things that have made the Lab a good place to work for so many years. Salary Data

Since 1976 SPSE-UPTE has obtained salary data that are available to us because of our status as public-sector employees with the University of California. These data have been made available to SPSE members. Since our next pay raises and ranking will be done under the new LLC and we will be private-sector employees, 2007 is the last year we will receive salary data and ranking.
