The Wen Ho Lee Case and its Aftermath

Nuclear weapons, espionage, US-China relations, Washington DC power struggles, yellow journalism, racial profiling, polygraphs, interrogation with death threats, secrecy versus truth, careers above principle, "crown jewels" above due process, political imprisonment, human rights, false evidence and trial, an apology from the bench, Chinese-American civil rights, popular protest, public relations versus a boycott for the 'hearts and minds' of Asian-Americans, employee solidarity the next time?, the simmering aftermath in Chinese America. Come, and engage in a forum on our own nation's Dreyfus case, the socio-political saga of a blending of US-China politics and nuclear weapons security lapses that erupted into a human rights cause célèbre, with civil, legal, racial, and political overtones that will continue to reverberate - the case of Dr. Wen Ho Lee.
