LLNL Employees Comment on Survey Results

The Executive Summary of the SPSE Employee Survey reported:

"The It is also interesting to note the issues that are the least concern to employees. On the bottom of the list --- in both methods of analysis --- is child care. This is true even for only the female respondents."

I feel obliged to point out that this must be viewed in the context of the presence of the excellent Child Care facility operated by LLESA. The parents of hundreds of children can report that child care is not an issue of concern because we have the availablilty of an institution which provides superior care of our children. In the absence of the Children's Center many, many more parents would have concerns with child care.
